Our Team

Shane Pierson~ Canine Specialist

I am a passionate dog trainer, fueled by my love for dogs and the transformative power of training. Graduating from the esteemed Top Tier K-9 Trainer School with advanced certifications in both pet and working dogs, I possess a strong foundation in understanding canine behavior and effective training techniques. It was through my own experience with three Belgian Malinois and a Whippet mix that my deep passion for dog training was ignited.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the ability to understand and communicate with dogs, observing their progress throughout their training journey. Witnessing the positive changes in their behavior and the strengthened bond between dogs and their owners brings me immense joy and fulfillment.

During my free time, I immerse myself in outdoor activities that invigorate my spirit. From mountain biking and snowmobiling to paddle boarding and surfing, I cherish the opportunities to connect with nature and embrace adventure.

Ultimately, my goal as a dog trainer is to make a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners, helping them achieve harmony, understanding, and a deep bond. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and honing my skills to provide the best possible training experience for every dog I work with.

Krystalynne Haskins~ Clinician

My name is Krystalynne Haskins, I use she/her pronouns, and am a practicing Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinician (LSWAIC). Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I received my Masters in Social Work through the University of  Washington and my Bachelors of Arts in Special Education through Pacific Lutheran University. My approach to wellness combines the diverse opportunities I have had as a special education teacher for youth with emotional and behavioral disorders, working for our local tribe as a wraparound navigator, and  as a crisis therapist alongside at risk youth and families.

During my graduate program I studied the human animal bond and the positive impact on PTSD, autism, and ADHD through experience based therapy modalities and later completed internships that practiced the Horse Boy Method and Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association model (EAGALA). I utilize a person centered approach that works to integrate mind, body, and spirit for meaningful healing and change. My expertise incorporates DBT skills, trauma informed CBT, somatic work, movement and mindfulness, and animal assisted interventions.

My hopes are that together we can learn to practice compassionate acceptance and embrace growth through the experiences of life.
